A rare piece of Australian commercial history. This solid brass, double-sided counter/desk sign features a "No Parking Here" notice on one side and the promotional branding for Albert S. Wallace & Co. Pty. Ltd. Customs Agents on the reverse.

Historical records show that Albert S. Wallace & Co. was established as shipping and customs agents in Melbourne in 1886, later incorporating as a proprietary limited company in early 1942 with an office expansion into Sydney. Given its style, casting, and company history, this promotional desk piece beautifully dates to around the 1920s–1940s.
