Product Description Reviews (0) (View All) Questions (View All) Vintage Murano Art Glass Lovebirds on Base A stunning mid-century Italian art glass sculpture featuring a stylized pair of lovebirds perched together on a heavy, clover-shaped base. Artistry & Design: One bird features a vibrant emerald green body transitioning to a clear-and-gold fanned tail, while its partner displays a rich crimson red to pink gradient. The sculpture relies on traditional Venetian craftsmanship, beautifully highlighted by dense aventurine inclusions (shimmering gold metallic dust) suspended throughout the entire base and the birds' wings and tails. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. Features a rough, hand-broken pontil mark on the underside, authenticating its hand-blown, artisanal production. No labels or etched signatures remain (typical of the era).
