This authentic mid-century brass shopkeeper’s entry bell was manufactured in England by ELPEC during the 1950s. The decorative wall plate is shaped as a traditional lucky horseshoe, featuring a highly detailed relief scene of "The Old Forge" in Cockington village, Devon.

The mechanical spring-loaded arm allows the heavy brass bell to swing freely when mounted to a door or entryway, ringing with a clear, resonant tone. It retains its original, dark-grooved natural patina and features stamped "ELPEC" and "Made in England" maker's marks on the reverse.
