Antique Carl Deffner German Art Nouveau Copper & Brass Flagon
Description:
A striking antique German Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) lidded flagon/pitcher by renowned metalworker Carl Deffner, Esslingen, dating to the early 1900s.
Crafted with a tapered copper body featuring elegant, embossed geometric panel decorations characteristic of the period. Completed with a stylized cast brass geometric handle, an integrated thumb-lever lid, and a classic tin-lined interior.
Condition:
Honest, age-related surface dents and minor patina from authentic use over the last century, which adds genuine character to its history. Solid structural condition with no major splits or repairs.
