A beautifully preserved piece of interwar kitchen history, this rare 1930s–1940s Art Deco era oven thermometer was proudly Made in England by ITC. It features a heavy, glossy white vitreous enamel face displaying a Fahrenheit scale up to 500 degrees, uniquely marked with period-specific typography and temperature guides for baking Custard, Pudding, Fish, Bread, and Pastry.
Designed for early gas, electric, or solid-fuel range conversion ovens, the thermometer rests on a robust cast-metal base. It is accompanied by its rare, original solid oak presentation box—a luxury manufacturing hallmark of the era. The box features a rich historic grain, a secure aged brass latch, and a vibrant green felt-lined interior perfectly molded to protect the enamel finish.
