Authentic 1943 World War II U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships (Bu.Ships) 7x50 Marine Binoculars.

Manufactured under wartime defense contract by the Universal Camera Corp. (New York, N.Y.), this historic Mark 32 Mod. 2 asset features its original textured leatherette grip-casing and hand-stamped serial engraving (#265297). Includes period-correct yellow stencilled inventory identification codes on the barrels, typical of active shipboard watch rotation.

Optical Condition: Central vision remains clear and fully functional. There is an honest internal prism flake/chip present on the far lateral edge of the right side glass assembly (viewable from the reverse side); this does not obscure or cloud the central point-of-view or focus. Individual diopter adjustments turn smoothly.
Cosmetic Condition: Displaying an excellent, honest "battle-worn" patina. Minor superficial finish wear and exposed brass highlights along the chassis edges with no structural impact to the casing or frames.

Great investment piece for militaria, WWII naval collectors, or maritime history enthusiasts.
