For sale is an investment-grade, 1-gallon antique stoneware demijohn flagon manufactured for the Sharpe Bros. hygienic brewing company. This piece features a crisp front transfer print dated 1948 and bears the faint R. Fowler Ware (Sydney) pottery stamp impressed on the underside of the base.
This flagon is in exceptional condition, making it highly collectible for dealers and Australiana enthusiasts:
  • Condition: Exceptional vintage condition. The main salt-glazed body has no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The top ceramic lip and the internal screw threads are pristine with no chips or flea bites.
  • Completeness: 100% complete and original. Retains its authentic, matching black vulcanite screw-top stopper embossed "Sharpe Bros" and its original coiled-wire carrying handle.
