A beautiful, highly
collectable
, and fully complete authentic late-Victorian central-draft oil table lamp produced by the renowned
Edward Miller & Company
(Meriden, Conn., USA). This is the premium flagship model, clearly bearing the crisp, stylized stamp
"THE MILLER LAMP / MADE IN U.S.A."
on the font shoulder, as well as "MILLER" on the original fuel filler cap.
The body features stunning, deeply embossed floral and foliate scroll relief patterns throughout the font and base, retaining its original polished nickel-plated finish over brass.
Condition:
Excellent structural and cosmetic antique condition with light, honest age patina. It features a 100% complete and intact No. 2 Miller central-draft burner system, including the original perforated internal flame spreader (thimble) and wick-raising hardware. It comes complete with a period-correct, undamaged clear glass chimney. Crucially, the hollow base is entirely original and has never been drilled or modified for electricity.
