An authentic piece of Sydney architectural history, this vintage hotel room key and fob originates from Adams’ Tattersalls Hotel (George Street). The hotel was demolished in 1969 to make way for the Hilton Sydney, which still houses the hotel's famously preserved heritage Marble Bar.
The heavy rectangular fob is solid brass and stamped with "ADAMS HOTEL SYDNEY 204". It retains its original, matching Lockwood cylinder key stamped "204" and "Lockwood AUS", indicating genuine mid-century Australian manufacture. Both pieces are secured by their original heavy twisted wire ring. The item is unpolished, showcasing an authentic vintage pocket patina.
