For sale is a stunning antique Victorian enameled glass water/lemonade pitcher, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1890).
This beautiful collector's piece features a hand-blown clear paneled body decorated with highly detailed raised white, blue, and gold enamel geometric and lace patterns. The top section showcases a striking amethyst/purple flashed finish terminating in an elegant hand-crimped ruffled rim. It features a heavy, solid-applied clear glass handle and a classic ground-and-polished pontil mark on the base, indicating superior artisan craftsmanship.
Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or clouding. Minor, expected age-related wear to the gold gilt band line, which is typical for glass of this vintage.
