This authentic, highly collectible vintage Wembley Ware Swan Ashtray was crafted in Perth, Western Australia, during the post-war era. This iconic piece of Australian pottery heritage features a beautifully molded 3D swan finished in brilliant gold gilt, centered on a pastel scalloped clam-shell base with a shimmering mother-of-pearl lustre glaze.
A major highlight for collectors: this piece still retains its original, highly coveted gold foil "Wembley Ware - The Seal of Quality" sticker intact on the top surface.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, structural damage, or repairs. Please note some minor wear to the gilded edges from use, consistent with its age, as well as minor glaze crazing on the underside.
