Qty
An authentic late-Victorian cast iron center entry door pull manufactured by the historic English foundry Archibald Kenrick & Sons (West Bromwich, England). [1]
This heavy, single-bolt static pull features Kenrick’s classic "No 28" pattern, highlighted by deep vertical ribbing (beehive/pomegranate design) and an embossed starburst rosette motif on the main face. The underside of the base rim is clearly cast with the maker's name, pattern number, and the British registration number Rd 232413{C}, which definitively dates the design's launch to 1894. [1]
Features an integrated anti-rotation locking lug on the base rim, its original heavy square threaded spindle, and the original large hexagonal mounting nut. This piece has a fantastic genuine aged patina with natural surface oxidation—perfect as a historical statement piece on a period renovation project or as a standalone collectible.
