Vintage 1974 Quell brand water (gas container) type fire extinguisher, manufactured by Fire Fighting Equipment in Ermington, NSW.

These vintage Australian extinguishers are highly prized because the paint can be easily stripped down and the raw metals polished up to a brilliant, smart-looking mirror finish—making it an ultimate statement piece for a home bar, office, or man cave.
This piece is incredibly complete, coming intact with its original rubber hose, brass fittings, and its safety tag chain assembly. The base of the cylinder is clearly stamped with its production year "1974".
