Professional grade 19th-century Sash Fillister Plane by renowned maker Charles & Co., London. This is a "best" quality specimen featuring extensive brass plating (boxing) on the fence and body to prevent wear—a premium feature for precision joinery.
  • Condition: Excellent antique condition and 100% complete. Crucially, it retains the original nicker blade (spur), adjustable brass depth stop, and both wedge-stem arm wedges, which are frequently missing on these models.
  • Markings: Crisp "Charles & Co. Warranted London" maker's stamp on the heel with the distinctive compass and arrow trademark. Features authentic 19th-century owner's initials "H.J.C."
  • Materials: Dense English Beechwood with heavy brass fittings. All parts move freely and are ready for restoration or immediate display.
