Authentic WWII German Army (Wehrmacht) 6x30 Dienstglas Binoculars Afrika Corps

Please check the Photos. Good condition, commensurate with the age, as per the photos. original pair of 6x30 Dienstglas service binoculars from World War II. These were manufactured by the prestigious firm Voigtländer & Sohn (maker code: ddx) in Braunschweig, Germany.

Details & Condition:
  • Maker: stamped "ddx" (Voigtländer) with serial number 31898.
  • Markings: Includes the Blue Triangle symbol, indicating the cold-resistant vacuum-tested lubricant used for the Eastern Front (post-1943).
  • Finish: Excellent "salty" combat-used appearance. The original Dunkelgelb (Dark Yellow/Tan) factory paint is clearly visible beneath the worn black overpaint—a highly desirable look for collectors of Afrika Korps or late-war gear.
  • Optics: Standard 6x30 magnification. The view is clear, and these do not have the internal rangefinder scale (no reticle), providing a clean field of view.
  • Body: The black textured leatherette grip is original and remains largely intact. The mechanical adjustments (focusing and width) move as they should.
Dimensions: 5cm high, 17cm wide, 12cm deep, 800g
