Antique Lithograph Image English Monach Queen Victoria Dated 1838 Gilded Frame

 

Please check the Photos. A wonderful image of a very young Queen Victoria dated 1838, only 7 years after her inauguration. The image sits behind a piece of glass and is mounted in a wonderful gilded timber oval frame. Some wear is apparent to the gilding to the frame. The backing is old timber, very much of the period. There is a stain on the back, looks like some oil perhaps that has partially soaked through the image around Victoria’s left hand. I doubt it would be worth cleaning the image, as it would be damaged. Still presents beautifully and of course the image could be removed and something else placed in there, as the frame itself is a genuine old piece.
